OUR STORY
WELCOME TO PORTSMOUTH VICTORIA SC, ARTISTIC SWIMMING
Portsmouth Victoria are a Swim Mark Essential Artistic Swimming Club based in Portsmouth, Hampshire. The club holds weekly training sessions for artistic swimmers of all levels, from beginners to elite.
Portsmouth Victoria was founded in 1979, originally as a swimming club but over time the club’s main discipline has been artistic swimming. Over the years, the club’s achievements have included County and National Champions with athletes selected for Regional, England and GB squads.
The club regularly competes at local, regional and national competitions throughout the UK.

SQUADS & CLASSES
BEGINNER
Learn
These are progressive lessons in which the swimmers learn Swim England Stages 8, 9 & 10 Artistic Swimming Skills.
All swimmers must be competent at swimming and able to swim a width in all strokes. The swimmer must also be happy to put their face into the water and be confident out of their depth.
NOVICE
Develop
These are progressive lessons in which the swimmers learn a variety of artistic swimming skills and work towards Grades 1-3 in Figures, Land & Routine grades, as well as having the opportunity to compete in Level 1 & 2 Competitions.
COMPETITIVE
Compete
These are progressive lessons in which the swimmers learn a variety of artistic swimming skills and work towards Grades 3-6 in Figures, Land & Routine grades, as well as having the opportunity to compete in Level 3 & 4 Competitions.
