- Policy Statement
It is the intention of the club to act responsibly in all matters relating to Health and Safety, and with this intention will:- 1. Do all that is reasonably practical to promote Health and Safety. The Safety Advisor, Mrs Tina Hinks , can be consulted at any time on
matters of concern Child Protection Procedure The Amateur Swimming Association requires that every affiliated club adopts its "ASA Child Protection Procedures" as a condition of affiliation. A copy of this document is held by Mr. Dave Hunter who is the person nominated by the Management Committee to have responsibility for child protection procedures in this club. As part of the ASA's procedures, all persons who are club officials or club helpers have had their names submitted to the ASA for approval and vetting. All parents are asked to give permission for their children to be videoed when this is required by the coaches for training purposes, similarly where any videoing zoom or close range photography takes place at any gala of display sponsored by the club, all persons doing so will be asked to register their details with staff at the entrance control before carrying out such photography.
