| The Goring Cup Margaret and Joe Goring were original founding members of Portsmouth Victoria Swimming Club. The Goring Cup was awarded by Margaret in memory of her husband Joe. The cup is awarded three times a year to the preliminary swimmer who has shown outstanding commitment to synchro and the club. This is may not neccesarily be the best swimmer but the one who the coaches feel has worked hardest.  The current holder of the Goring Cup is -
